About Andaman
A clear history of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands can be had only from a British Survey of these islands conducted in 1777. The Andaman & Nicobar Islands remained the abode of the Negritos and the Mongoloids respectively, who occupied the Islands for centuries. These islands remained secluded from the mainland till the end of the 18th Century when people from the outside world first arrived. The history of these islands could be divided into four broad periods the period of seclusion and piratical disturbances
a) the British regime - a period of foreign intrusion and settlement
b) the Japanese regime
c) and the Post-Independence period.
In the Second Century, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands were located in the maps prepared by the great Greek astronomer, mathematician and geographer, Claudius Ptolemaeus, which possibly is the earliest reference to these islands. The early history of Nicobar is not well known although these islands were familiar to traders in ancient times, the islands being situated close to the trade route to the Far East. Though little is known about Portuguese activities in these islands, it is evident that the Portuguese missionaries started preaching Christianity among the islanders. The Nicobarese language also reflects a few Portuguese words.

ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive at Andaman
Transfer from Airport / Harbor to Hotel, Cellular Jail, Light & Sound Show, Gandhi Park, marina park, dinner n rest.
Day 02: Site Seen Andaman
The voyage begins with a mesmerizing scrutiny in a boat to see under- water marine life and rarest varieties of corals by glass bottom boat and snorkeling in the North Bay. After North Bay, proceed to Ross Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings, Harbour through a steamer in a Harbour Cruise which includes a trip to tiny, serene, beautiful island called “VIPER ISLAND” where the gallows is a sight to watch, dinner and rest.

viisit Havelock and make a over night stay and back up the next day. In Havelock you can visit som finest beaches called radha nagar beach and next day elephant coral island.
Day 03: Site Seen Andaman
The day’s program begins with the sightseeing tour in and around the city like Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika),Mini zoo,Chatham Saw Mill - one of the oldest and largest wood mill in Asia, Forest museum displays decorative pieces made of famous woods, Anthropological Museum - displays tribal essential, After lunch, proceed for Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) - exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands, Joggers park, airport ariel view, science centre, Evening is free for Shopping. Or you can programme for Baratang islands for a live watch of Mud volcano and lime stone caves by boat through mangroves creeks and back or towards Havelock islands (radha nagar beach), or to jolly buoy islands (coral islands).

Visit Havelock islands,in a speed boat one of the 6th beautiful beach of Asia, where you can sea radha nagar beach, and elephant coral island for snorkeling and diving, and back up the same day.

Visit Baratang islands, where you come across some wild animals (wild bore,spotted deer,viper snakes,green imperial pagions,crocodiles) and also come across a exciting part of the journey the lime stone caves and Mud volcanos, and back up the same day.
Day 04: Departure from Andaman
Transfer to Airport / Harbor- Departure.
